Campground Review: Anchor Down RV Resort

Anchor Down RV Resort

It took us over a year to finally secure a spot at the coveted Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge, TN, and we can tell you……it was definitely worth the wait!

This lakeside RV resort has only been open for seven years, but it’s already built up a devoted following. Besides having Douglas Lake and the Smoky Mountains as your backdrop, you’re only a hop, skip and a jump from all of the Eastern Tennessee attractions, such as The Island in Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Gatlinburg East-Smoky Mountain KOA

We just got back from a long weekend retreat to the Gatlinburg East-Smoky Mountain KOA campground, and I wanted to pass along our review to you!

We’ve been to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN area before. Last year, we stayed at the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA (see our review of that campground here). So this year, we wanted to try out another property to get a different perspective on the area.

Camp Site Review: KOA Holiday Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN

We just got back from our first trip to the KOA Holiday Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN, and we couldn’t wait to share our review with you! This was our first time staying at a KOA property, so we weren’t sure what to expect.
