How to take your puppy on a hike

how to take a puppy on a hike

It’s 2019! After what seemed like the rainiest fall and holiday season on record (seriously, we almost had to board the Ark), the sun came out and Mother Nature graced us with a warm, 65-degree day right after the start of the year.

Hiking With Kids: Family Hike Scavenger Hunt

Family Hike Scavenger Hunt

Our family loves to hike. We’re so fortunate to live in Greenville, SC, which is just a stone’s throw from some amazing hiking trails along and near the Foothill Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway.

Friday inspiration

I found this quote on Instagram this morning and wanted to share! It was posted by @coloradoteardrops.

Go take a hike to Rainbow Falls

The Family Glampers

One of the most amazing things about living in Greenville, SC, is how close we are to some incredible hiking trails.

Forget access to the Appalachian Trail (which runs right above our neck of the woods), there are dozens of great day hikes in our area, most of which are moderate enough for the whole family to enjoy.

We’re working on a post of our Top 10 S.C. day hikes for families which we will post soon! But one hike to get you started is Rainbow Falls in Jones Gap State Park in Marietta, SC.
