Emerald Pools hike in Zion National Park is a moderate 2 mile trek to the base of a 300-foot cliff! The water level in the pools was extremely low due to the drought happening here, but still amazing views!

We arrived in Grand Canyon National Park late yest

We arrived in Grand Canyon National Park late yesterday after a full day of travel from the East Coast. We were greeted during dinner by some young elk out for an evening stroll!

We can’t wait to explore this amazing area today. So much to see and only one day here to do it!

Just a few more sleeps until we get to head west t

Just a few more sleeps until we get to head west to visit the Grand Canyon! We’re aware of the extreme heat 🥵 happening out there right now, so we may have to cut some of our planned hikes shorter than planned. But we still hope to be able to trek some of the Bright Angel Trail while we’re there!

The saddest sight and sound a camper ever hears is when the slide out comes in because that means it’s time to go home! (Or maybe it means you’re moving on to somewhere else in which case maybe it’s not sad at all!). Our weekend at the lake is drawing to a close. But what an amazing time it was!

In less than two weeks, we are flying west to go on an epic Family Glamper adventure! While we’re not able to take our camper on this excursion, we’re excited to check some incredible hikes off of our bucket list. Including The Narrows hike along the Virgin River in @zionnps.

Have you hiked this route before? What tips do you have for us? We’ve already rented waterproof gear from @zionoutfitter, we’re staying in Zion Lodge so will catch the shuttle from there to the trailhead.
